The Vintar gorge is 1600m long and up to 250m deep gorge on the Eastern part of the Triglav National Park. Powerful current of River Radovna is channelled between hills Hom and Boršt and it is full of small waterfalls and rapids. Gorge was discovered in 1891 by Jakob Žumer. They opened for public in 1893.

Trails, bridges and narrow passages will lead you to the end of the gorge where you can see 16-m magnificent and the highest fluvial waterfall in Slovenia – Šum. You will need approx. 45min to reach the waterfall.

Vintgar gorge is located 4km away from Bled city centre and 8km away from railway station Lesce-Bled .

Due to COVID-19 situation around the world Vintgar gorge offers only one way visit.

We can pick you up at your accommodation – hotel, hostel, apartment, pension, camp, bus station, train station,… or you can visit our office at Cesta Svobode 10, Bled (next to Casino Bled) and book your trip there.

We provide tickets in our package to enter the gorge without waiting in the line to get tickets!

Before we drop you off at the entrance we will give you a flyer with QR code. QR code will bring you to pick up location.

After amazing walk over the bridges and memory full of nice moments you have to follow the green path to St. Catherine church. It is a 25min walk from Waterfall Šum.
When you reach the church you can refresh yourself in the bar next door – Jurček Hom. When you are ready to go to pick up location you call us and scan the QR code. QR will bring you to pick up location 10min walk downhill to village Zasip. Pick up is when you meet the main road between the streets Rebr and Blejska cesta.

After we will bring you back to your accomodation / Bled castle / Bus stop / Train station  or everywhere else in Lake Bled.
