The Vintar gorge is 1600m long and up to 250m deep gorge on the Eastern part of the Triglav National Park. Powerful current of River Radovna is channelled between hills Hom and Boršt and it is full of small waterfalls and rapids. Gorge was discovered in 1891 by Jakob Žumer. They opened for public in 1893.

Trails, bridges and narrow passages will lead you to the end of the gorge where you can see 16-m magnificent and the highest fluvial waterfall in Slovenia – Šum. You will need approx. 45min to reach the waterfall.

Vintgar gorge is located 4km away from Bled city centre and 8km away from railway station Lesce-Bled .

Due to COVID-19 situation around the world Vintgar gorge offers only one way visit.

Drive you to the entrance and give you tickets to enter the gorge without waiting in the line to get tickets!
After amazing walk over the bridges and memory full of nice moments we will pick you up on the other side of the gorge next to the cemetery in Blejska Dobrava. You DO NOT need to walk all the way back over mountains to the starting point. Way back it is difficult due to 250 stairs you have to climb first and then 1 hour walk over “Strma stran” or 80m altitude difference to reach Saint Catherine church and then 30min walk back to entrance.

Our pick up is 15min easy walk from Waterfall Šum direction to Blejska Dobrava cemetery. Gravel wide road will lead you to our pick up location. Road is slowly going up.
